The same mini, maybe...

Recently I showed a mini album I made using the G45 By The Sea paper line.  It has been a wildly popular one!  I taught it for a class at Scrapp n' Savvy.  The students learned how to build the book from scratch.  I have high hopes that it inspires them to build their own for future projects.  I thought I would share a project with you that is the same basic book style, just different papers and embellishments.

This is the cover.  The album is 8 x 8 and is perfect for loads of pics.  I think I have 70 in this one with a few spots for more pics.  I made this one using the G45 Botannical Tea collection.  This is for my mom so you will see pics of my kids from this past year in it.  I can hardly wait to give it to her!

Each page inside has a flap, or a tag, or both!  I used all the "extras" for the collection throughout the book along with some fun embellishments from other paper companies.  I love the Prima jean plates (see the "moments" tag on the left).

The paper is so pretty.  I bought it when it first hit the store knowing I was going to make a new mini album for my mom.  Again, love the Prima "memory lane" sign post!

Large pocket pages are perfect for adding tags of all sizes.  The 8 x 8 size of the book is wonderful for adding pics without having to cut them down.

The double slant pocket page works perfectly for the center of the book.  I have filled each side with bunches of tags, all sizes, to get all the pics of my son in the book.

Again, a large pocket.  I added some smaller pics using a dangling tag group.  I like how it turned out.

This is probably one of my favorite pages in the book.  Last summer I took a series of pics of my boys playing around with their little sister.  I have a perfect photo essay of the fun!  I made a vellum pocket on the left flap of this page.  It is embellished with a Prima doily sticker (love those) and ribbon.  In the pocket I made an accordian booklet with a large tag for the front and back "pages" of it.

This is the accordian (above) and you can see that the photos are perfect inside!  I just love it.  It tells the whole story inside the little accordian booklet.   And it looks cute tucked into that vellum pocket.

You can see here one of the extra large tags peeking out from the page.  These were great for this album.  I added quite a few pics on those!

I hope you enjoyed the pics.  Have a wonderful day!
